Meet Lexie, a 23-year-old who has struggled with meth and heroin addiction for five years. Despite trying inpatient treatments, detoxes, and 12-step programs, she always found herself back in the cycle of addiction. Lexie’s self-sabotage led her to press the “abort” button on anything good in her life, even when she was clean for months or years. However, she decided to try ibogaine addiction treatment in Tijuana, even though she and her parents were skeptical of using a drug to get off of drugs.
